Summary

This study looked at whether pentoxifylline, a drug used for blood flow issues, can lower inflammation and slow kidney damage in people with chronic kidney disease who do not have diabetes. 42 adults with moderate to severe kidney disease took part. Researchers measured changes in inflammatory markers to see if the drug could help control the disease.
