First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a new radioactive tracer called PentixaFor can improve PET scans for people with multiple myeloma. The goal is to see if it finds cancer spots better than the standard FDG tracer, both at first diagnosis and when the disease comes back. About 45 adults with symptomatic myeloma will be scanned and followed to compare accuracy.
