Summary
This study tested a new approach to safely remove incorrect penicillin allergy labels from hospitalized patients. Researchers worked with 165 adults who had a reported but unconfirmed penicillin allergy. The goal was to see if a simple assessment model could help more patients get the right antibiotics.
