NCT ID NCT06696716

First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 18, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is testing an investigational drug called ONO-4059 for people with pemphigus, a serious autoimmune disease that causes painful skin blisters, who have not responded well to standard steroid treatment. About 34 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug plus a low-dose steroid or a placebo plus a low-dose steroid for 52 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug helps control blister formation and allows patients to reduce their steroid use.
