Summary
This study tested whether pulsed electromagnetic field therapy can improve bladder function in 40 children with myelomeningocele (a type of spina bifida) who have neurogenic bladder. The children, ages 4 to 12, received the therapy at a physical therapy clinic. Researchers measured changes in urine flow, bladder capacity, and involuntary bladder contractions.
