First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study is for people whose head and neck cancer has returned or is a new tumor in the same area and cannot be removed by surgery. It tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab to precise, high-dose radiation therapy can help keep the cancer from growing longer than radiation alone. About 86 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups.
