Immunotherapy after treatment may keep limited lung cancer at bay
NCT ID NCT02316002
First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looked at whether the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab can help people with a limited form of lung cancer (oligometastatic NSCLC) that has already been treated. 51 adults received pembrolizumab every 3 weeks for up to 16 cycles. The main goal was to see how long it took for the cancer to come back or worsen. This is not a cure, but aims to control the disease longer.
