Summary
This study tested whether a herbal extract from Pelargonium sidoides (EPs®7630) helps adults with acute bronchitis recover faster and use fewer antibiotics. 332 adults in Switzerland took part, including those with COVID-19. Researchers compared the herbal treatment to usual care and measured how quickly symptoms improved and how many people needed antibiotics.
