First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested a combination of two drugs (temozolomide and peginterferon alfa-2b) in 29 children and teens with advanced or returning melanoma that could not be removed by surgery. The main goal was to see how well the treatment shrank tumors and to check for side effects. The study is no longer recruiting, and results are being analyzed.
