Summary
This study tested a digital health program led by trained peers to help low-income adults at risk for heart disease. Over 8 weeks, participants learned about heart-healthy habits through their phones and group meetings, then were followed for 12 more weeks. The goal was to see if the program improved heart health knowledge, lifestyle, and risk scores compared to standard printed advice.
