Summary
This study tested a peer-led digital health program called MYCardio-PEER to help prevent heart disease in low-income adults at risk. 63 participants joined an 8-week program with a peer leader and face-to-face support, then were followed for 12 more weeks. The goal was to see if the program improved heart health knowledge, lifestyle habits, and key health numbers like blood pressure and cholesterol.
