Summary

This study looks at whether giving general medicine doctors a report comparing their antibiotic prescribing to that of their peers can lower the amount of antibiotics they prescribe. About 650 doctors from over 30 Ontario hospitals will receive these reports along with a toolkit of best practices. The goal is to reduce unnecessary antibiotic use and fight drug resistance.
