Doctors test Quick-Fix breathing tube for kids in surgery
NCT ID NCT06449924
Summary
This study observed a simple technique for helping children breathe during surgery. Researchers tested placing a standard breathing tube just above the vocal cords instead of deeper into the windpipe. They wanted to see if this method was easy, safe, and effective for keeping children oxygenated, especially when placing the tube deeper is difficult.
