First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at how to grow special immune cells (called CTLs) that can recognize and kill pediatric solid tumors like neuroblastoma and osteosarcoma. Researchers are testing a new way to grow these cells in a device called a G-Rex bioreactor to make them stronger and last longer. The goal is to develop better cell therapies for children with solid tumors. The study involves analyzing tumor samples from 44 children and testing the immune cells in the lab.
