First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study compared two types of nerve blocks (TFP block and QL block) to control pain after lower belly surgery in children aged 3 to 7. The goal was to see which block reduces pain and the need for extra painkillers. 66 children took part, and researchers measured pain scores and total paracetamol use after surgery.
