New combo therapy aims to boost immune attack on tough lung cancers

Summary
This early-phase trial is testing a new drug called PBF-1129 combined with the immunotherapy nivolumab in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has returned or spread. The main goal is to find the safest dose and understand side effects. About 30 adults who have already tried standard treatments, including immunotherapy, will take part.
