New hope for Hard-to-Treat breast cancer: targeted drug shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called patritumab deruxtecan in people with advanced breast cancer that is hormone-receptor positive but no longer responds to hormone therapy or CDK4/6 inhibitors. About 139 participants will receive the drug every three weeks to see if it shrinks tumors and how safe it is. Researchers will also study biomarkers to understand who benefits most.
