First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looked at how satisfied people were with three different types of mouthguards (occlusal splints) used to treat jaw joint and muscle pain (TMD). 27 adults who had jaw pain for at least 3 months and had never been treated for it before tested these mouthguards. The main goal was to see which type patients liked best in terms of comfort and ease of use.
