First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at a program called NavSTAR that helps people with opioid use disorder start treatment after leaving the hospital. The program is designed to reduce differences in treatment access that affect racial minority groups the most. Researchers will first test the program with 32 patients across four hospitals in Philadelphia, then plan a larger study with 720 participants to see if it can be used more widely.
