First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding ultrasound-guided nerve stimulation to standard treatments (electrolysis and exercises) helps people with patellar tendinopathy, or jumper's knee. 26 athletes with knee pain for at least two weeks took part. The goal was to see if the combined approach improves pain, function, and quality of life better than standard care alone.
