First seen Nov 26, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to fix broken kneecaps using strong stitches instead of screws and cables. About 50 adults aged 18-55 with specific types of kneecap fractures will be followed for a year to see which method leads to better knee function, less pain, and fewer complications. The goal is to find a simpler, safer option for recovery.
