First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether cutting certain nerves in the wrist during surgery for a severe, shattered wrist fracture can lower the chance of long-term pain. About 56 adults with this type of fracture will have the nerve procedure added to their standard surgery. The goal is to see if this extra step helps them have less pain and better wrist function later on.
