Can a smart treadmill change your gut and help Parkinson's?
NCT ID NCT07434089
Summary
This study is exploring whether a specialized treadmill, with or without virtual reality games, can change the gut bacteria and improve walking, balance, and other symptoms in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will compare this advanced rehab to standard physical therapy in 60 participants. The main goal is to gather knowledge about the connection between exercise, gut health, and Parkinson's symptoms, not to test a cure.
