Scientists test if High-Tech treadmills can rewire the Gut-Brain link in Parkinson's
NCT ID NCT07434089
Summary
This study is exploring whether a special treadmill-based rehabilitation program can change the gut bacteria and improve symptoms in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will compare standard physical therapy to the treadmill, both with and without virtual reality games. They will measure walking ability, balance, and collect stool and blood samples from 60 participants to see if the rehab affects their gut and body chemistry.
