Scientists map Parkinson's brain to unlock disease secrets
NCT ID NCT07474779
Summary
This study aims to understand how certain proteins spread in the brain and affect brain function in Parkinson's disease. Researchers will examine 160 people, including those with Parkinson's, those with a sleep disorder linked to Parkinson's, and healthy individuals, with a focus on those carrying a specific genetic risk. Participants will undergo brain scans, blood tests, and cognitive assessments to help build models of how Parkinson's progresses.
