Scientists listen to Parkinson's brain signals to understand walking problems

Summary
This study aims to understand how deep brain stimulation (DBS) affects walking, balance, and other movement problems in Parkinson's disease. Researchers will use a special, already-implanted DBS device that can record brain signals while 36 participants go about their daily lives for at least four weeks. The goal is to learn how brain activity relates to movement difficulties to potentially improve future treatments.
