Researchers scan for hidden breathing weakness in Parkinson's

Summary
This study aims to understand how Parkinson's disease affects the muscles used for breathing. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure the thickness of abdominal muscles in 36 Parkinson's patients at different stages of the disease. They will compare these measurements with the patients' disease severity and their ability to breathe out forcefully, to see if there is a connection.
