Summary
This study looks at whether a special parenting program can help 4- and 5-year-olds from low-income families do better in kindergarten. About 840 children and their parents will take part. The program teaches parents ways to support their child's social and behavioral skills, with the goal of improving school readiness and reducing problems like chronic absence.
