First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at how parents can help their deaf children develop language after early cochlear implant surgery. Researchers will use a special recording device called LENA to measure conversations at home. The goal is to see if speech therapy guidance based on LENA data improves the child's language skills. About 30 children implanted before 18 months old will take part.
