Can teaching parents new play skills help babies at risk for delays?
NCT ID NCT03404505
Summary
This study tested whether a short-term coaching program for parents could help improve social and communication skills in their infants. Researchers compared two groups: one where parents received specific play coaching and another where they received general child development education. The goal was to see if coaching parents led to better engagement and developmental progress in babies aged 8-12 months who showed early signs of delay.
