Researchers probe why some parents excel at language training for kids with delays
NCT ID NCT03525951
Summary
This study aimed to understand why some parents are more successful than others at learning techniques to improve their child's language skills. Researchers worked with 156 parent-child pairs, including children with typical development, language delays, and autism. They measured parents' own language skills and awareness to see how these factors influenced the quality of parent-child conversations during remote training sessions.
