NCT ID NCT05566561
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested a special nerve block called a para-sartorial compartment block to control pain after knee surgery. 60 adults having knee surgery under spinal anesthesia received the block to see if it reduces pain and the need for extra painkillers like tramadol. The block aims to numb the knee without affecting leg movement, helping patients get out of bed sooner and lowering the risk of falls.
