First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether papaya leaf extract can safely raise low platelet counts in children aged 2 to 12 with dengue fever. About 100 children will receive either standard care alone or standard care plus papaya leaf extract syrup for 3 days. Researchers will compare platelet changes and whether fewer children need platelet transfusions or intensive care.
