Summary
This study tests whether taking pancreatic enzyme pills can help people with severe acute pancreatitis regain lost weight and improve nutrition. The trial will include 188 adults aged 18-60 who have lost at least 10% of their body weight due to the disease. Participants will receive either the enzyme pills or a placebo for 3 months, and their weight change will be measured.
