New needle treatment could zap pancreatic cysts before they turn cancerous

Summary
This study tests a procedure that uses a thin, flexible tube with an ultrasound probe to guide a needle into pancreatic cysts. Chemotherapy drugs are then injected directly into the cyst to shrink or destroy abnormal cells. The goal is to prevent these precancerous cysts from developing into pancreatic cancer. About 35 adults with pancreatic cysts will take part.
