New Two-Pronged attack tested for tough pancreatic cancer

NCT ID NCT07306273

Summary

This study is testing a two-part treatment for locally advanced pancreatic cancer that has worsened after standard first-line chemotherapy. It combines a procedure called irreversible electroporation (IRE), which uses electrical pulses to destroy tumor cells, with an immunotherapy drug designed to help the immune system fight cancer. The main goal is to see if this combination can help patients live longer and control the disease.
