First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a special PET/CT scan that uses a radioactive tracer called 68Ga-FAPI-46 to highlight pancreatic cancer cells. The goal is to see if this method can detect tumors more accurately than current scans. About 130 adults with localized pancreatic cancer who are scheduled for surgery will take part. The results may help doctors choose better treatments.
