New diabetes could signal hidden cancer: major study hunts for early clues
NCT ID NCT04662879
Summary
This study aims to see if a special computer model can help find pancreatic cancer sooner in people who have just been diagnosed with diabetes. Researchers will use patients' medical records to calculate a risk score. People with a high score will be offered imaging scans (like CT or MRI) to check for cancer, and all participants will be followed for three years to see if cancer develops.
