Tracking a hidden danger after pancreas surgery
NCT ID NCT06126601
Summary
This study aims to understand how high levels of a digestive enzyme (amylase) in the blood after pancreas removal surgery relate to complications. Researchers will follow 150 patients to see if these high enzyme levels can predict problems like pancreatitis and guide better early care. The goal is to improve safety and recovery for people having this major operation.
