New MRI study seeks to unlock secrets of the pancreas in diabetes

Summary

This study uses advanced MRI scans to measure the size and texture of the pancreas in people with type 1 diabetes and other forms of diabetes. Researchers aim to develop standard methods for assessing the pancreas, which may help improve understanding of the disease. About 250 participants aged 8 and older will be enrolled.
