Summary
This study tests a shorter course of radiation (39 Gy in 13 sessions) to relieve symptoms like bleeding and pain in 50 adults with rectal cancer who cannot have surgery due to age, other illnesses, or cancer spread. The goal is to see if this approach improves comfort and quality of life with fewer side effects. It is not a cure, but aims to make daily life better for these patients.
