Real-World data reveals survival differences in older breast cancer patients
NCT ID NCT06086340
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at medical records of 779 older adults (65+) with a common type of advanced breast cancer (HR+/HER2-). It compared those who received a combination of two drugs (palbociclib plus an aromatase inhibitor) versus those who received only one drug (aromatase inhibitor alone). The goal was to see which group lived longer. The study used existing data from a large cancer database, not a new experiment.
