Study aims to measure how well Vein-Blocking procedure relieves Women's chronic pelvic pain
NCT ID NCT03794466
Summary
This study aims to measure how much pain relief women get from a minimally invasive vein-blocking procedure for pelvic congestion syndrome, a common cause of chronic pelvic pain. Researchers will follow 30 women who receive the coil embolization treatment to quantify their pain reduction using a simple survey. The study also hopes to identify which patients are most likely to benefit from this treatment approach.
