First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study compares two numbing medications to see which one helps hernia surgery patients feel less pain and recover faster. About 128 adults having abdominal wall reconstruction will receive either a standard numbing mix or a newer long-acting drug. The goal is to find which option reduces pain, lowers the need for extra painkillers, and shortens hospital stays.
