NCT ID NCT06123117
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to manage pain after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. One group gets standard local numbing medicine at the incision sites, while the other gets that plus an extra nerve block guided by the surgery camera. The goal is to see if the combined approach reduces the need for strong painkillers like morphine. About 850 adults having gallbladder surgery will take part.
