First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to manage pain after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. One group gets standard local anesthesia at the incision sites, while the other gets that plus an additional nerve block guided by the camera. The goal is to see if the extra block reduces the need for strong painkillers. About 850 adults having gallbladder surgery will take part.
