Hip surgery pain relief: which method lasts longer?

NCT ID NCT06818396

Summary

This study compares two established methods for controlling pain after hip surgery. Researchers want to see which approach—a nerve block injection in the hip area or a medication added to spinal anesthesia—provides longer-lasting pain relief before patients need additional pain medicine. The trial involves 120 adults having hip surgery under spinal anesthesia.
