First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested two types of nerve blocks—transmuscular quadratus lumborum block and lumbar plexus block—to see which one reduces pain better after thigh lift surgery. 42 adults having elective spiral thighplasty took part. The goal was to find the best way to manage pain right after surgery, using pain scores and how soon patients needed extra pain medicine.
