First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study compares three different volumes of a nerve block called M-TAPA to control pain after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. Sixty adults aged 20–60 will be randomly assigned to receive 20, 25, or 30 mL of numbing medicine per side. The goal is to see which volume provides the longest pain relief and reduces the need for opioid painkillers.
