Summary
This study tested whether injecting a local anesthetic (ropivacaine) into the chest cavity after lung cancer surgery could reduce severe pain. Researchers enrolled 90 patients who had major chest surgery for cancer. They compared this injection method to standard pain relief to see if it was effective and safe.
